Instructions
Step 1
Clan Mussels to remove debris and pull the "beard" from each mussel.
Step 2
Put a large saucepan on the stove and add four tablespoons of EVOO. Add the crushed garlic and cook for one minute. Add the sliced cherry tomatoes. If using calamari rings add these after tomatoes. After a few minutes press down the tomatoes to extract the juices.
Step 3
Once the calamari is soft, add the prawns, vongole/clams and mussels. Cook for a couple of minutes with the lid on.
Step 4
Add the dry chili, parsley, salt and pepper then stir. Place the lid on again ang cook for another minute or so until every mussel is open.
Step 5
To make eating easier - you can remove some of the mussles and vongole from the shells.
Step 6
Add the passata and cook with the lid on for approximately 10 minutes.
Step 7
Add 5L water to a large pot, with salt, and bring to the boil. When boiling add the pasta and cook as per instructions.
Step 8
When the pasta is ready, transfer it to the sauce an mix well. Plate up and top with a little back pepper and parsley.
