Place the clams in a bowl of cold water to soak and set them aside.

When the spaghetti is al dente, add it to the pan with the clam sauce and toss to coat. Add pasta water to the pan if need it, about 2 tablespoons at a time, until the sauce is the consistency you want. and top with the chopped parsley. Toss gently to combine all of the ingredients and serve your spaghetti alle vongole while it's still hot.
