Biscuit

7 steps
Prep:10minCook:20min
This is by far my favorite biscuit recipe! A Biscuit with a moist interior and crunchy exterior. This very simple biscuit can be enjoyed during the cold months filled with gooey date & chocolate warm goodness or during the warm months wuth creamy ice cream.

Instructions

Step 1
Melt the cocoa butter and place in a bowl, then whisk the melted cocoa butter with the milk and maple syrup and maple sugar.
Step 2
Next, add the chia, then the amazake. Make sure it’s all well incorporated.
Step 3
In a different bowl add the dry ingredients: flour, tapioca and baking soda. Then add the dry bowl to the wet bowl.
Step 4
Let it sit for a couple of minutes to come together. Oat flour will absorb a lot of the liquid up and firm up the mixture.
Step 5
You can either spread the mixture on a lined oven tray or you can shape into balls. To ball; all your hands first before you handle the dough to avoid it sticking to your hands.
Step 6
Bake for 10 to 20 minutes on unbleached parchement paper in preheated oven; 190 c.
Step 7
Let them cool for a couple of minutes on a cooling wrack & enjoy.
