Instructions
Step 1
Cook white rice. When cooking, toss with 1 tbp of sesame oil and 1 tsp of salt. Set aside.
Step 2
Lightly toast seaweed sheets in pan.
Step 3
Cook eggs in frying pan into sheets. Cut into thick slices.
Step 4
Fry carefully sticks of spam until browned.
Step 5
Stir fry carrots with a tsp of garlic and bit of sesame oil, season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Blanch spinach, season with salt, pepper, garlic and sesame oil.
Step 7
Put seaweed sheet shiny side down on bamboo roller. Put 1 cup of rice. Leave 1 inch from the top margin. Using wet hands to spread rice evenly.
Step 8
Lay out ingredients evenly in the middle of the rice.
Step 9
Lift bottom side of bamboo roller to meet the other end of the rice at the top, using fingers to keep stuffing in place. Press firmly over the bamboo roller. Roll up the rest in roller and press again.
Step 10
Lightly brush sesame oil over the rolls. Cut into pieces.
