Instructions

Step 1
boil pasta al dente according to package directions, drain and stir in butter to prevent noodles from sticking together.
Step 2
chop onion, wash and slice mushrooms. Wash and chop side vegetables.
Step 3
Meanwhile brown ground beef in a large pan, seasoning with salt and pepper to your liking. Break up meat as it cooks into crumbles.
Step 4
In a sauce pot steam side vegetables until crisp-tender. I like broccoli or green beans best, but peas are also a nice option.
Step 5
Once beef is browned drain off grease. Rinse with hot water (optional) to further reduce grease. Set aside.
Step 6
Heat oil in the empty beef pan, Saute onion and mushrooms until tender.
Step 7
Push onions and mushrooms to sides of pan. Add to the center, mushroom and garlic soup, undiluted. One can (10 oz) of beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard. Stir sauce together until blended.
Step 8
Add beef back to the pan and stir to mix beef, mushrooms, onions, and sauce. Continue simmering until heated through. If your vegetables aren't done you can reduce heat to low.
