Instructions
Step 1
Brown the ground beef in a saute or frying pan on medium-high heat. Add in the sliced mushrooms once the beef is almost done browning.
Step 2
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Step 3
While water is heating up, add sour cream, gravy, mustard, worcestershire, salt, and pepper to the pan with ground beef. Turn to medium-low heat. Stir ingredients well until evenly incorporated.
Step 4
While the stroganoff gravy is heating through, dump the egg noodles into the boiling water. Boil per the package directions or for 6-7 minutes.
Step 5
Drain the cooked noodles. Add the butter to the noodle and stir to coat the noodles in the melting butter.
Step 6
Divide the noodles into bowls or plates. Spoon the hot gravy onto the noodles.
Step 7
Serve while warm.
