2 cupsshort grain rice
soaked
1 ½ tspsalt
½ tsppepper
⅛ tspturmeric
1 tsp7 spice
½ tspcumin
6 cupswater
or enough to cover

Instructions
Step 1
In a large bowl combine rice, tomato, onion, parsley, seasonings, lemon juice and olive oil. Mix well and set aside. To roll your grape leaves take one at a time remove the stem. Place some of your filling into the center roll it over tuck in the sides and roll it shut. Do that until all of your grape leaves have been stuffed. Next prepare your pot by adding olive oil chicken and chicken seasonings. Sauté over high heat until chicken is golden brown then place it skin side down and top with slice potatoes, tomato, onion and lemon. Top with rolled grape leaves. Add a heat proof plate to hold down the grape leaves. Cover with water. Bring to a boil over high heat then cover with a lid. Reduce heat to simmer for about 2 hours until rice is fully cooked and grape leaves are tender then flip and enjoy.
