or margarine
¾ cupsugar
1egg
1 ⅓ cupsflour
½ teaspoonbaking soda
1 teaspooncream of tartar
salt
1 cupraisins
Rolling Mixture
Instructions
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar in mixing bowl. Beat in egg.
Step 2
Sift together flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt; add to creamed mixture. Mix in raisins.
Step 3
Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture.
Step 4
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Step 5
Bake at 400ºF for 10 to 12 minutes.
