If your pan isn't ovenproof, transfer pasta mixture to a baking dish now. Evenly top with mozzarella. Broil on top rack until cheese is melted and lightly browned, 2-4 minutes. (Watch carefully to avoid burning. The broiler is a powerful tooll) Serve directly from pan.
