Ingredients

To flashbake pie crust: Place pie weights in bottom. Bake at 450 degrees for 8 min. Cover edges if needed and bake 6 more minutes. Lower oven temp to 325 degrees.

Instructions

Step 1
Brush bottom of crust with egg yolk
Step 2
Sauted onions and broccoli in olive oil until tender. (Can add minced garlic).
Step 3
Put cheese in flashbaked pie crust
Step 4
Add broccoli mixture
Step 5
Beat eggs with salt and pepper and add to crust.
Step 6
Bake pies on baking sheets at 325 degrees for 45-50 min. Put foil rings around edges of crust before baking. Quiche is baked when knife inserted near center comes out clean.
