Instructions

Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 275°F. Place the brisket in an oven-safe pan.
Step 2
2. Combine the ketchup and soup mix in a bowl, then mix it a little. Pour in 1 cup water and stir to combine.
Step 3
3. Pour the sauce over the brisket, then flip the brisket over to coat the other side. Cover the pan with foil and roast in the oven for 6 to 7 hours.
Step 4
4. Remove the pan from the oven and test the brisket to make sure it's fork-tender. Slice the brisket into thin strips and continue until it's all sliced up.
Step 5
5. Return the beef to the sauce and keep warm until you're ready to serve.
