Instructions
Step 1
Add water to a pot and bring to a boil to cook the pasta.
Step 2
Dice an onion, then fry with olive oil over medium heat. After 2-3 minutes, add minced garlic and sauté for another few minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions turn translucent.
Step 3
Add Italian seasoning, salt, and tomato paste and mix well.
Step 4
Mix in the vodka and dairy-free cream. Let simmer for 5 minutes, then turn down the heat until the pasta is cooked.
Step 5
Once the pasta is cooked, stir into the vodka sauce. If the sauce has been reduced too much, feel free to add up to 1/4 cup of pasta water to loosen it.
Step 6
Enjoy with fresh basil and chili flakes!
