Air Fryer Spicy Garlic Tofu

Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of salt and 2 cups of water. Cut tofu into bite-size pieces and soak tofu in water for at least 5 – 10 minutes.
Step 2
Heat up 4 tablespoons of oil and prepare the sauce by mixing, add in 2 tbsp of Soy sauce, 3 tbsp of Black Vinegar, 1.5 tbsp of Chilli Oil, Crushed Red Chilli Flakes, Sesame Seeds, white parts of the green onion, and the top layer, minced garlic.
Step 3
Once the oil is hot, pour the oil over the ingredients, mix well.
Step 4
Line the air fryer with the tofu and air fryer at 400F for 25 minutes, flipping halfway. Optional – brush on or spray oil on top of the tofu, which will help crisp up the tofu.
Step 5
Depending on your air fryer, you may need to increase the cooking time to 28-30 minutes.
Step 6
Drizzle the sauce over the tofu and garnish with cilantro.
