Spinach & Ginger Zinger (Vegan)

This tangy and refreshing smoothie contains fewer calories than a couple of biscuits but will be much more effective at keeping hunger at bay. Often touted as a “detox” drink, this smoothie does not need to just be a tonic for overindulgence as it tastes great and also provides two of your daily fruit and veg portions. Spinach also contains nitrate which can help reduce blood pressure and improve exercise performance. If spinach is not your thing, try carrot instead but double its quantity. The energy density will still remain very low.
