Instructions
Step 1
Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add the pasta.
Step 2
Place a large non- stick skillet over medium heat and when it is hot, add the oil. Add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Add the tomatoes, sugar, water or wine, dried basil and oregano.
Step 3
Cook the tomato mixture until the pasta is tender, or about 15 minutes. Drain the pasta and place equal amounts on 4 plates and top with tomato sauce. Place fresh basil on top of each bowl.
Step 4
Serve immediately with fresh Parmesan cheese.
