Instructions
Step 1
To a large bowl, add the oats, milk, maple syrup, brown sugar, baking powder, coconut oil, mashed bananas, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix together well with a rubber spatula or spoon. You can choose to add the walnuts and chocolate chips into the batter or reserve it to add as a topping. Either works. If you want it mixed into the batter, add now and mix again. Otherwise, go to the next step!
Step 2
Line a 9×9 pan with parchment paper. Pour the oat batter in. Add the walnuts and chocolate chips on top. If you added some in the batter, you can add more on top or just leave it as is. Pop in the oven to bake for about 35 to 40 minutes at 350°F until set in the center and a little golden on the edges.
Step 3
To reheat, just preheat the air fryer to 350°F and warm up for 5 to 6 minutes. You could also do the microwave if you’re in a pinch but the texture won’t be as crispy just like anything else you’d reheat in the microwave.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Step 5
To a large bowl, add the oats, almond milk, mashed bananas, maple syrup, brown sugar, coconut oil, baking powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Mix together to combine with a rubber spatula.
Step 6
Line a 9x9 pan with parchment paper. Pour the oat mixture over. Add walnuts and chocolate chips on top.
Step 7
Pop in the oven to bake for 35 to 40 minutes until fully set in the center and crispy on the edges. Do not overbake.
Step 8
Take out of the oven, cool for 10 minutes, then cut into individual slices to enjoy warm!
