Instructions
Step 1
Wash the rajma
Soak rajma in water overnight or through the day for 5-6 hours
Put the rajma and water in pressure cooker and cook till 1 whistle on full flame followed by 3-4 whistles on simmer
Step 2
Take some oil in kadai
Add the cumin seeds and let it crackle
Add curry leaves and green chili and fry them a bit
Add the chopped onions and fry till translucent Add the ginger garlic paste in the mix
Fry till the onions are golden brown and then add the chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala Fry till the masalas are cooked and add some water if required Add the chopped tomatoes to the mixture and some salt for moisture
Cover this with the lid and cook till tomatoes are mashable, occasionally stirring
Step 3
Now add some of the rajmas without the water to the mix and mash them a bit
Add the rest of the rajma
Mix well and then add the water in which rajma was cooked
Cook for 2-3 boils Garnish with coriander leaves
