Yes! Daal made in no time at all in the microwave!
Daal is one of my favourite all time recipes & this microwave version made in just 15 minutes is such a handy time saver after a busy day at work leaving you free to get on with everything else whilst the microwave does the cooking 🙌🏾

Recipe:
300gms red lentils
700mls Water
200gms baby spinach leaves (roughly chopped)
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
Tarka - optional
1/2 small onion - finely sliced
4 cloves garlic - finely sliced
2 green chillies - deseeded & quartered
1 tablespoon Ghee or oil
1️⃣ Wash the lentils a few times and rinse well
2️⃣ In a large microwaveable bowl add the rest of the daal ingredients and mix well
3️⃣ Cover & cook in the microwave for 15 minutes on high power. Mine is 850W if yours is Less it might need a little longer
4️⃣ To make the tarka, melt the ghee in a pan and add the sliced onions. Cook until they are brown
5️⃣ Add the garlic & chilli (deseed if you don’t want too much of a kick!)
6️⃣ cook until the garlic just starts to soften & pour over the cooked fall
Serve right way with a bowl of rice
