High Protein Chilla
Small little tweaks to make our meal more nutritious
Add grated sprouts and grated paneer/tofu to the Chilla - what a brilliant idea it is
Makes 4-5 thin Chilla
1/2 cup coarsely chopped raw sprouts ( I used hand chopper )
1/2 cup spinach chopped
1/4 cup grated panner or tofu
1/2 cup + 1-2 tbsp besan
Onion 2-3 tbsp
Carrot grated 2-3 tbsp
Beetroot grated 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves chopped 1-2 tbsp
Green chilli -1
Ajwain -1/4 tsp
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder 1/2-1 tsp
Turmeric -1/4 tsp
Hing pinch
Salt to taste
Water to form a smooth batter, it shouldn’t be too thick but spreadable consistency
1. Mix everything, leave for 5 minutes for veggies to leave more water
2. Spread a thin layer on a tawa, put oil, flip cook and put little more oil
3. Repeat with other Chilla, remember to splash water on tawa everything you make a fresh Chilla for tawa to cool little and so that you can spread easily
Serve with green chutney
Quick And Easy Green Chutney
1 cup Coriander leaves with stems tightly packet and chopped (not the thick stem)
1-2 green chilly
1 inch ginger chopped to pieces
1/2 tsp cumin powder
Salt to taste
Lemon juice 1 tsp
1 - 2 tbsp curd as per desired consistency
1. Blend all. Add more curd if you want thinner consistency. Do a taste test for salt and lemon juice
