Instructions

Step 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook in boiling water until nearly tender, about 8 min. Drain without rinsing and set aside.
Step 2
While spaghetti is cooking, prepare the shrimp. Season shrimp with salt and black pepper.
Step 3
In a pan on medium heat, add the olive oil. Saute the garlic until sizzling. Add shrimp to the pan and cook 2-3 min per side or until pink. Transfer the shrimp to a side plate for now.
Step 4
To the same pan on medium heat, add 1/4 cup of water. Add the halved tomatoes and cook for about 1 min. Add shrimp and pasta. Cook on high heat tossing together until the water has evaporated.
Step 5
Serve immediately topped with parmesan cheese.
