LAMB CHOPS
-forget the grill and make these in a pan. They turn out so flavorful and delicious. Recipe shared below with additional notes on the site 🤍
I’m super picky when it comes to lamb. So i wash and scrub them down with ginger and vinegar before beginning to cook. If you are too- i have a video that shows the cleaning process.
2 RACKS OF LAMB ( 16 pieces )
MARINADE:
* 1 tbsp minced garlic
* 1 tbsp ginger paste
* 1/4 cup oil
* 1 cup plain yogurt
* 1 lemon juiced
* 1 jalapeño chopped finely
* 1 tbsp Aleppo pepper
* 1 tbsp onion powder
* 2 tsp paprika
* 1.5 tsp ground cumin
* 1.5 tsp salt
* 1 tsp black pepper
* 1/2 tsp turmeric
SUMAC ONION + CILANTRO SALAD
* thinly sliced red onions
* chopped cilantro
* sprinkle of salt
* 1/2 lemon juiced
LAMB
-after your lamb is cleaned and cut
-place all chops into a bowl with all seasoning and mix well
-in a hot pan, cook 4-6 chops at a time. do not overcrowd the pan and only using a LITTLE oil at a time cook 3 minutes per side (if pieces are larger/thicker and you prefer well done, add more time to this)
