Instructions
Step 1
Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a skillet or saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Step 3
Stir in the gochujang and cook for another minute, allowing the flavors to meld together.
Step 4
Pour in the heavy cream and stir well to combine with the garlic and gochujang mixture. Let it simmer gently for about 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
Step 5
Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce, stirring continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Step 6
Stir in the soy sauce to add depth of flavor. Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding salt or pepper according to your preference.
Step 7
Adjust the amount of gochujang according to your desired level of spiciness.
Step 8
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss well until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce and heated through.
Step 9
Serve the pasta hot, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
