Instructions
Step 1
Cook Lasagna according to package directions, drain.
Step 2
Brown ground beef, pork or hot sausage and onion in a large skillet.
Drain excess fat.
Step 3
Add Tomatoes and juice.
Step 4
Stir in tomato sauce 3 tablespoons parsley, 2 teaspoons salt, basil and garlic powder.
Step 5
Heat to boiling, stir occasionally.
Step 6
Reduce heat, simmer for 1 hour or until sauce thickens.
Step 7
Mix ricotta cheese, parsley, salt and eggs.
Step 8
In a pan (13 x9) spread thin layer of sauce on bottom of pan, arrange a layer of lasagna, spread with a layer of ricotta cheese, layer of meat sauce, layer of mozzarella.
Step 9
Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
Step 10
Finish with a layer of mozzarella cheese.
Step 11
Bake at 350° F for 45 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Step 12
Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
