0.5tin pineapple chunks

200mlpineapple juice

2 Tbspwhite wine vinegar

200gdemerara sugar

2 Tbsptomato ketchup

1onion
diced in quarters

0.5green bell pepper

0.5red Bell pepper

¼ tspMSG

200mlorange squash
undiluted

Ginger
2 inch, peeled and chopped

2cloves garlic
crushed

1 tblspooncorn flour

1 tblspoonwater

1 Tbspsesame oil

2 Tbspvegetable oil

½ tspChinese Five Spice
Instructions
Step 1
In a saucepan brown off the onion,garlic and ginger in a tbsp of vegetable oil and half of the sesame oil (for taste)






Step 2
Add the Chinese Five Spice to the pan with the bell peppers. Stir to soften the peppers



Step 3
To the pan add the pineapple, allow to slightly brown then add the pineapple juice, orange squash, white wine vinegar, MSG and sugar. Stir and combine the ingredients in the pan then add the tomatoe sauce to the mix







Step 4
Make a slurry (1 tblsp corn flour mixed with 1 tbsp cold water) and add to the sauce to thicken, simmer for 20 minutes
