Patatas Bravas with Chorizo

Whilst this appetising dish only just sneaks into the High Satiety Diet due to its low energy density, this Spanish favourite has been included as it is full of potatoes, which sit at the top of the Satiety Index. It does taste great though and the energy density can be reduced further, by substituting a light oil spray for the olive oil.

Instructions
Step 1
Peel and chop the potatoes into cubes and boil in salted water for 20 minutes until tender. Thinly chop the garlic, chilli and onion and fry in a tablespoon of olive oil in a medium saucepan for 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and paprika, stir well and leave on a low heat to reduce for 15 minutes. In a large frying pan add a tablespoon of olive oil and fry the thinly sliced chorizo for 5 minutes before adding the drained potatoes. Season with salt and fry until the potato and chorizo has begun to brown. Transfer to a large bowl and pour over the spicy tomato sauce, stirring well. Suggested servings: Three large portions or six side/tapas portions.
