Instructions
Step 1
Brown meat and drain. Add the next 6 ingredients (garlic- tomato paste) and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
Step 2
Combine Ricotta cheese through parmesan cheese in a bowl.
Step 3
In a 9x13 casserole dish layer add a little sauce then layer:
1) 1/3 the noodles, 2) 1/3 ricotta mixture
3) 1/3 mozzarella slices 4) 1/3 beef sauce
Repeat a second then third layer of noodles, ricotta cheese, mozzarella and beef sauce. Top with shredded cheese.
Step 4
Freeze. Thaw overnight. Bake at 375 for 30-40 minutes.
