Instructions

Step 1
Season shrimp generously with Cajun seasoning and let it marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
Step 2
Chop onion, bell pepper, and celery, then sauté them in a heavy-bottomed pot until soft, around 10-15 minutes.
Step 3
Add a sprinkle of Cajun seasoning. Next, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
Step 4
Mash all the vegetables with a potato masher, pour in seafood stock, and stir in the roux. Season with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, and lobster base.
Step 5
Allow the roux to cook for at least an hour before adding potatoes. Once the potatoes are tender, add the marinated shrimp and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
