Instructions
Step 1
Peel apples then add to a pan with 1/3 cup water and a tbsp of sugar . Cook until soft then blend into a sauce
Step 2
Peel the potatoes then use the fine grate side of a box grater and grate them over a bowl . Once done squeeze the liquid out of the potatoes but don’t throw the liquid in the bowl out as you will need it later .

Step 3
Finely grate the onion then mix it with the potatoes salt and pepper to taste nutmeg and now drain the liquid from the bowl and in the end will be potato starch . Mix the starch with the potatoes to bind everything together

Step 4
Heat oil in a pan on medium heat then take large spoonfuls and flatten them on the pan . Cook on both sides until golden and crispy en drain on paper towels and serve with apple sauce
