Step 1
Cook rice according to package.
Step 2
In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear undisturbed for 3 minutes on each side, cook until done. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, whisk together soy sauce, vinegar, honey, sesame oil, and garlic powder. Bring mixture to a simmer over medium-high heat.
Step 4
In a small bowl, stir cornstarch and 2 tbsp sauce until cornstarch is dissolved. Pour mixture into pan and whisk until combined. Simmer, stirring, until the sauce thickens, 3-4 minutes.
Step 5
Return chicken to the pan. Toss to coat.
Step 6
Serve chicken and sauce over rice with sesame seeds.
