To a large bowl add the chicken, cornstarch, salt and pepper; mix until chicken is evenly coated.

Step 2
Heat a pan on medium heat. *To gauge pan heat, flick some water onto it. It will crackle and sizzle once hot. Add in sesame oil and chicken to pan. Fry for 10-15 mins until crispy and golden. Cut a large piece in half to ensure doneness.

Step 3
Adjust pan heat to low and add in the rest of the ingredients. Simmer for 8-12 minutes or until sticky and delicious. Serve with rice or noodles. Enjoy!
