Instructions

Step 1
Place the pork shoulder into a 7-8 quart crock pot. Sprinkle the onion soup mix on all sides of the pork and press down.
Step 2
In a separate bowl mix together 1 cup of bbq sauce and the root beer. Pour over the pork.
Step 3
Cook on low 10 hours.
Step 4
When the pork is finished cooking shred it using 2 forks or meat claws.
Step 5
Pour in the remaining bbq sauce and mix together.
Step 6
Serve on sandwich buns with coleslaw for delicious pulled pork sandwiches.
