Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 2
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and onions until the beef is browned and the onions are softened. Drain excess grease.
Step 3
Add the shredded cabbage, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder to the beef mixture. Cook until the cabbage is wilted, about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Unroll one can of crescent rolls and press into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form a crust. Bake for 5 minutes.
Step 5
Spread the beef and cabbage mixture evenly over the baked crescent roll crust.
Step 6
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the beef mixture.
Step 7
Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and place on top of the cheese to form the top crust.
Step 8
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the crescent roll top is golden brown.
Step 9
Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
Notes
Step 10
For added flavor, brush the top crust with melted butter before baking.
Step 11
You can substitute Swiss cheese for the cheddar if desired.
Step 12
For a creamier filling, mix in a can of cream of mushroom soup with the beef and cabbage.
