Instructions

Step 1
Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
Step 2
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and onion powder over the chicken.
Step 3
Add the softened cream cheese in dollops on top of the chicken.
Step 4
Pour 1/4 cup of water or chicken broth into the slow cooker.
Step 5
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
Step 6
Once the chicken is cooked, shred it using two forks.
Step 7
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon until well combined.
Step 8
Sprinkle with sliced green onions if desired.
Step 9
Serve warm on buns, over rice, or with your favorite sides.
