Step 1
Mince the garlic.
Step 2
Add the gochujang, garlic and sugar to a hot pan.

Af the hot water while stirring everything together. The paste should dissolve completely.

Now add the soy sauce and stir again.
Step 5
Add the uncooked tteok and reduce the heat to medium. Let the tteok cook for about 5-7min until soft.
Step 6
Sprinkle the cheese on top of the tteok. Put on a lid and let melt for about 2min. Then enjoy!
