Step 1
In a pan, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess fat.
Step 2
Combine the tomato sauce, cumin, chili powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, beef bouillon, black pepper and 4 cups of water in a separate stock pot. Stir well and heat to a low simmer.
Step 3
Add the uncooked shell pasta to the browned beef and stir to combine. Let the pasta fry slightly with the beef.
Step 4
Add the chopped onion and allow to fry slightly.
Step 5
Combine the beef and onion mix into the stockpot of broth on medium simmer. Stir occasionally making sure all ingredients are covered.
Step 6
Remove from heat when the shells are hard and chewy in the center. Let rest until pasta is soft.
