Instructions
Step 1
In a small bowl or a jar with a lid, combine the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey (or maple syrup), Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.

Whisk or shake well until the dressing is emulsified and smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Toast the Walnuts:
In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the walnut halves for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until they are fragrant and lightly browned. Be careful not to burn them.

Remove from heat and let cool.

Assemble the Salad:
In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens, sliced apples, dried cranberries, toasted walnuts, and red onion slices.
