Step 1
1. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl except vine leaves & oil thoroughly.
Step 2
2. Blanch vine leaves for 2-3 min. Remove & place them flat upside down. Add 1/2 spoon of filling on each leaf, fold over the sides, centre & roll.
Step 3
3. Add olive oil in a pot, arrange dolmades on the bottom making sure that the end is facing down. Place on stove and cook over medium heat. In another pot, bring to the boil 2 cups of water or chicken stock.
Step 4
4. Once dolmades are cooked, pour boiled water (or stock) to cover the dolmades and place a flat plate on top. Cook for another 45min until juice has been reduced
