VALHOMAS NOODLES ----------------------- Ingredients ------------- 1 cup smoked tuna (thinly sliced) 1 large onion (sliced) 1 Maldivian chilli (scotch bonnet) (sliced) 6 cloves of garlic (grated) 7-8 dried whole chilli (sliced in two) 10-15 curry leaves 2 tsp chilli powder (optional) 1 tbsp oyster sauce 1 and 1/2 pkt seasoning packet (that comes with the noodles) 3 pkt Mamee instant noodles 2 and 1/2 cup water 3 - 4 tbsp oil Method --------- Heat oil in a medium size pot over medium high heat. Add curry leaves, sliced dried chilli and onion. Sauté till onion is soft and add in garlic and chilli. When onions are browned, add smoked tuna. Sauté it over low heat till the tuna is a little bit browned. Add in chilli powder (optional), oyster sauce and the seasoning. Give it a good stir and fry it for one more minute before adding water. Add noodles when the water is rapidly boiling and cook it over the high heat with a lid on. Stir to mix everything; and do it so, after 1-2 minutes. Remove the lid when noodles is half cooked and water is reduced. Cook over high heat till the water is completely evaporated giving it an occasional stir.

Instructions

Step 1
Heat oil in a medium size pot over medium high heat.
Step 2
Add curry leaves, sliced dried chilli and onion.
Step 3
Sauté till onion is soft and add in garlic and chilli.

When onions are browned, add smoked tuna.

Sauté it over low heat till the tuna is a little bit browned.
