Vegan Spaghetti Bolognese (Trader Joes: 4 Ingredients)
Here’s a 4-ingredient meal you can make from Trader Joe’s part 57 🍝🫘🍅🧅🥕- lentil bolognese
You’ll need:
1 package of mirepoix
1 package of steamed lentils
1 jar of marinara sauce
8 oz of capellini (spaghetti noodles)
Optional for topping: grated cheese
What to do:
1️⃣Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣In a large saucepan, sauté the mirepoix with olive oil, salt and pepper, about 5 minutes.
3️⃣Add the lentils to the pot and continue cooking for another 3 minutes. Use a wooden spoon to breakup the lentils and mix with the mirepoix.
4️⃣Add the pasta sauce and cook until heated through, about 4 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
This makes 4 servings. This lentil bolognese is a ✔️flavorful and ✔️filling dinner option ✔️packed with plant-based protein.
