Instructions

Raclette cordon bleu

Step 1
Cut the chicken in half without cutting all the way through.
Step 2
Place a piece of cling film on the chicken breast and pat it flat.
Step 3
Season the chicken with 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper
Step 4
Top one half of the chicken breast with 2 slices of ham, the raclette cheese and 2 more slices of ham.
Step 5
Fold the uncovered side over the covered side.
Step 6
Now season the chicken again with salt and pepper on both sides.
Step 7
Wrap the cordon bleu in cling film and chill for a while.
Step 8
In the meantime, heat the oil in a pan or saucepan over a high heat.
Step 9
Put the flour on one plate. Place the egg on another plate and whisk. Place the panko on the last plate.
Step 10
First roll the chicken in flour. Then dip it in the egg and finally roll it in panko. Make sure it is completely covered.
Step 11
Fry the cordon bleu in the oil for approx. 4-5 mins until crispy and golden brown.

Roasted potatoes

Step 12
Peel the potato and cut into slices.
Step 13
Heat the butter and oil in a frying pan and set the heat to medium-high. Then add the potato slices and fry for approx. 2 mins.
Step 14
Now add the spices and continue to fry. The potatoes should be crispy and golden brown at the end.

Cheese Sauce

Remove the edges of the raclette cheese.
Step 16
Pour the cream into the same pan in which the potatoes were fried. Bring to the boil for approx. 1 min.

Add the raclette cheese and allow to melt. Finally, season with salt and pepper.

Sandwich

Step 18
Cut the bread roll in half and spread both sides with butter. Then fry in a pan until golden brown.
Step 19
Top the bottom half of the bread with the fried potatoes, cordon bleu and cheese sauce.
Step 20
Finally, place the other half of the bread on top and enjoy.
