Crispy Potato Bacon Dinner

I created this recipe with ingredients I had on hand, prepared according to my picky daughter's preferences. I just need to create a sauce to drizzle over. I'm thinking mayo or sour cream based.

Step 1
1. Heat oil to medium.
Step 2
2. Toss onions in cornstarch

Deep fry onions, a little at a time, until lightly browned. Remove to paper towels.
Step 4
Put potatoes in a glass bowl with about 2 cups of water. Cover and microwave about 4 minutes.
Step 5
Cook bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
Step 6
Melt butter in pan. Add potatoes. Season to taste and cook until browned on all sides. Add peas and toss.
Step 7
Build bowls with potatoes and peas, topped with bacon and crispy onions.
