Instructions

Step 1
Add dry ingredients to bowl and whisk together.

Make a crevice/ valley on the dry ingredients and add wet. Whisk until just mixed. Do not over mix. Some lumps are fine.

Heat pan to medium-high on the cooktop. Add oil to hot pan.

Step 4
Once oil is hot, use ladle to spoon cakes onto pan, approximately 10cm in diameter. Fry in oil approximately 4 minutes per side. Adjust for temperature.

Top with any of the following or come up with your own. This can be served with sweet or savoury flavours: fruit, syrup, yogurt, jam, chicken, cheese, beef, tomato, herbs, cream cheese, etc.
