Instructions

Prepare the Garlic and Butter Base:

Step 1
In a large pan over low heat, add butter and olive oil. Melt them together gently.
Step 2
Add a piece of garlic to the pan. When it starts to sizzle, add the rest of the garlic.
Step 3
Sauté the garlic on low heat, stirring often, until it becomes fragrant but stays light in color—avoid browning the garlic to prevent any bitterness.

Cook the Shrimp:

Step 4
Lay the shrimp in a single layer in the pan. Cook on low-medium heat until the shrimp starts to turn pink on the underside, about 1-2 minutes.
Step 5
Flip each shrimp over, season generously with black pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and a sprinkle of garlic salt.

Add White Wine:

Step 6
Add 2-3 rounds of white wine around the pan to deglaze, letting the wine simmer and reduce until the shrimp is nearly cooked.

Finish with Fresh Parsley and Serve:

Step 7
Once the shrimp is fully pink and opaque, add chopped parsley, stirring everything together.
Step 8
Serve over your choice of pasta and sprinkle generously with grated Parmesan cheese. For a spicier version, you can add the crushed red pepper flakes earlier with the garlic to infuse the oil with extra heat.
