Garlic Sesame Tofu (GF)

11 steps
Prep:10minCook:35min
Tips: -If you have a tofu press or extra time on your hands, definitely press the tofu, but it is not necessary for this recipe. It will make it crispier, but you can easily skip it! -Preferably low sodium soy sauce, if you use regular soy sauce you may want to add a bit of water to the sauce so the saltiness isn’t overpowering. Potential tips: -I think sprinkling it with sesame seeds is a welcome addition. -if you use panko breadcrumbs, turn them more fine by crunching them or putting them in a foodprocessor. Storage: Once prepared, this sesame tofu will keep in the fridge for 3 days. It is best served fresh, but you can pop everything back in the oven at 200 for 10 minutes to crisp it back up. The microwave also works, but tends to make things a bit soft/soggy, but the flavor will still be delicious Serving: Can be served with rice and broccoli to make a sort of buddha bowl or stir fry or with vegan fried rice.
