Instructions
Step 1
Brown beef and drain off the fat. If you boil the beef, you can skim the fat off the top and reuse the broth to thin out the chili later.
Step 2
Add browned beef and other ingredients into slow cooker and cook per slow cooker instructions. Add water/broth as needed to thin chili to taste.
Step 3
After cooking, season with Texas Pete or other hot sauce to taste and serve with shredded cheddar, sour cream, and crackers.
