Instructions

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 325°F and line a 9x9 baking dish with parchment paper.
Step 2
2. Melt butter and mix in peanut butter, maple syrup, sourdough discard, vanilla and brown sugar until it’s a caramel-y consistency.
Step 3
3. Fold in oats, salt and chocolate chips until well combined.
Step 4
4. Press mixture into pan until it’s all an even layer. Make sure to press down a few times (this helps keep the bars together).
Step 5
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool completely then place into the fridge for at least an hour (overnight is best)
Step 6
6. Cut into 12 bars and store in the fridge. Enjoy!
