Instructions
Step 1
Cream butter and sugars in mixing bowl

Beat in eggs and vanilla
Step 3
In a separate bowl, blend together flour, salt and baking soda

Stir into butter mixture

Mix in oats (and chocolate chips if desired)

Cover and refrigerate for several hours, or until dough firms

Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet
