Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 375F. Grease an 8-inch cake pan with cooking spray and set aside.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, white sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice, and mix well. Add the oil, vanilla, vinegar, and water, and mix until combined. Sift flour and brown sugar to remove any clumps.
Step 3
Transfer the batter into the greased cake pan. Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean and temperature reaches 205F
Step 4
Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool completely, before frosting.
