Healthy Instant Mason Jar Noodles
7 steps

“Instant” mason jar noodles inspired by Nutrition by Kylie
Note:
* Use a wide mouth mason jar otherwise you’ll struggle to put ingredients in and eat from it
* The soup bases can be sodium heavy so just make sure you drink water and read ingredients so you know how much you’re consuming
Instructions
Note: Wet ingredients should always be first in the jar
1. Layer ingredients as follows: soup paste, salt or seasoning, tofu, spinach, carrots, vermicelli, green onions, enoki (I put this last cause it cooks fast so if you want it to be chewy, remove it before adding water and drop it back in at the end)
2. Pop the jar in the microwave for 30 to 45 seconds (this marinades the tofu and softens carrots a bit) — double check you can microwave your jar first and maybe lower the seconds since your microwave is stronger than mine
3. Boil water and pour it just so it covers the veggies and tofu and push the vermicelli down till it’s soaked. (You can add more water but it will dilute the flavour)
5. 5. Close jar and use oven mitts to hold (it’s hot) while you shake to make sure soup paste is fully mixed
6. Let stand for 10 minutes
7. Open and eat from the jar or pour into bowl
