I think people focus so much on all the crazy spicy soups we have we always forget about this one ๐Ÿ‘€Bc birthday or not this is like the most popular soup to give to young kinds. The soft seaweed & rich beef broth taste DRILLED into my brain ๐Ÿฅต ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐ŸปBut I love how this soup tries to center our birthdays around giving thanks to our parents/mothers for doing the most to get us to this world.๐ŸŽ‚ โฃ ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งAlso, that tip I mentioned in the video is THE best tip Iโ€™ve ever received for this soup๐Ÿฅฉ- bc who wants tough gummy beef in soup? And itโ€™s the best way to draw out that beef flavor & mingle it with the sesame seed oil. Thanks mom leetz

Instructions

Step 1
1. Soak seaweed In water. Prep garlic/onion. โฃ
Step 2
2. When seaweed is fully soft (like 5 - 10 minutes) rinse and place in pot with beef, garlic, onion, and sesame seed oil. Pour in 1 cup of water and simmer on low heat until the beef is no longer pink on the outside & the onion is wilted โฃ
Step 3
3. Add 3 cups of water and boil for 5 minutes. Add fish sauce, dark soy sauce, garlic, and the rest of the sesame seed oil. Boil for another 10 minutes. โฃ
Step 4
4. Serve with white rice and some kimchi. Happy birth!โฃ
